By conceiving and deploying new organizational design(s): DTC supported a major food processing technology OEM by leading several change events that strengthened its balance sheet while re-structuring the manufacturing leadership.
Strategic change management consultation and leadership development: DTC assisted a pharmaceutical packaging automation firm with organizational design, a reduction in their supply chain complexity, and developing new elements of value-add for their customers.
Board participation: Acting as interim COO and Board member for a small pharmaceutical packaging device OEM, developed domestic and international distribution agreements to both broaden the client’s product offering and extend the sales and service of client’s own products.

New product introduction and commercialization: As interim COO for a fully funded start-up was responsible for the new product introduction of hardware for a unique point-of-use storage and deployment system of medical devices (implants) and instruments to achieve a beta testing opportunity with a major hospital network.
Design and implementation of standardized manufacturing models: As Program Manager for a large multi-national food processing equipment manufacturer, delivered on-time and under budget a euro 7.0 million regionalization project. Oversaw the transfer of manufacturing and supply-chain from Iowa to an existing north Georgia location. Shut-down of the mid-west factory was followed by establishment of new innovation, product management, laboratory and general administrative offices to continue customer-facing activities in the region.
Strategic supply chain development: Working as Operations Advisor for an emerging home healthcare company (round B funded) led the supply-chain and commercialization process of a FDA class-2 medical device to support volume manufacturing capacity within 6 months of launch. Developed contracts and selected partners for raw materials, third-party logistics, contract manufacture, and reverse logistics.
Operations Development: Provided operational excellence audit services and kaisen blitz, with recommendations for area improvements for a large pharmaceutical packaging device division. Scope of work included design engineering, supply partners, on-site manufacture, quality systems and field service support. The successful execution of several improvements (in part) supported the sale of this business unit to private equity.
